About Riondel
Riondel is a small settlement in southeastern British Columbia's Kootenays region, on Kootenay Lake's eastern shore. Originally developed as a mining community centred on lead and zinc extraction at the Bluebell Mine, it has been a quiet lakeside community of about 266 residents since the mine closed in 1971.
